Jurgen Jeske brings over 35 years of metallurgical expertise to the foundry industry, having served as Chief Metallurgist since 1989. With 32 years at John Heine & Son—a renowned, family-run foundry established in 1886—Jurgen developed extensive knowledge in casting operations, metal specification design for superior wear properties (particularly in the mining sector), quality control, welding procedures, and heat treatment. His leadership also extended to Foundry Manager, where he upheld generations of craftsmanship and innovation.

In 2021, Jurgen joined Austral Alloys, where his drive for excellence has further elevated the company’s position as a leader in quality castings and advanced foundry technologies. His unwavering commitment to innovation and performance continues to shape the industry standard.
