Austral Alloys Pty Ltd limits all claims to the full credit of the castings of its supply or its replacement at our option. Contingent liability is expressly excluded.
I general terms we do not offer any design facilities and cannot there be responsible for faulty design. Moreover we are not frequently aware of or can control the conditions of service of the casting of our supply and therefore equally we accept no liability for fitness for purpose or failure caused by service conditions.
Customers are urged to ensure that a cast product is an appropriate method of manufacture and should carefully consider the metal and metallurgical condition that is suitable for the end use. Knowledge of the fundamentals and limitation of commercial castings should be sought.
Product Tests should be done accordingly. The customer should also specify what tests and to what level are to be conducted by Austral Alloys Pty Ltd in the pursuit of Quality assure to meet design requirements.
We accept orders on the basis of us meeting any specification or part specification (ie chemistry only) and failure to do so falls within our claim policy.
Our technical department is willing to offer technical information and assistance in such matters but does so free of charge and without liability. |
